RESIDENTIAL ENTRY DOORS
Gothic style front doors
You know these when you see them. Gothic front doors are often pictured leading into historic universities or churches. They have a dominant look that’s almost always built from highly decorative and dark stained wood with metal hardware. They’re a definite statement-maker that works well on Tudor or other ornate-style homes. Iron out design details below.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Gothic architecture?
Image the cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris — this is a perfect example of Gothic architecture. Pointed arches, stone, and dark wood are features of this style, which first developed in Medieval Europe. It’s old, it’s imposing, and it’s meant to evoke awe, which is why you’ll see churches, libraries, and other illustrious institutions designed in this style. Elements of it are also present in various other styles, like Tudor.
What is a gothic arch?
A gothic arch is pointed at the top. You see this type of arch featured frequently in Gothic architecture, of course, but also in other ornate and historic architectural styles.
Are half-circle arched doors available?
Yes, in addition to pointed gothic arches, we make rounded arch entry doors, which we call Springline™ doors. They are available in a variety of looks and are often featured on homes in the Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival styles.
What other types of arched doors are available?
In addition to the pointed gothic arches and half-circle Springline™ arches, we offer entry doors with elliptical (or oval) arches and a subtle, rounded version of the shape that we refer to simply as an arch. Find all these arched doors available in a variety of looks — double and single, glass, and all wood.
A top warranty in the industry
Our entry doors comes with one of the industry's best limited warranties. The warranty is even transferable, so it'll continue to add value if you decide to sell your home.
